Properstar Marketing - 2018-09-04 - - ## Who buys there and where are the hotspots ? We know that Portugal is in the spotlight when it comes to tourism and last year they earned a lot of prizes: Best European destination; Europe’s Leading Cruise Port; the Eurovision Song Contest; and they were Champions of the Euro 2017! For sure it is a nice time to be in Portugal and international real estate buyers knows that. They are mainly buying in Lisbon, Porto and Algarve but we’ve had enough talk about Lisbon. Let’s talk about Porto! ## Who is buying in Porto? According to the National Institute for Statistics the prices are higher. There was an increase of 14,1% and the ones that are buying the most are the Brazilian (27%) and the French (23%). If you think the Brazilians are going to [Porto](http://portoportugalguide.com/index.html) to have some sun and because of the language we should add that they are moving to Portugal also due to their country social, political, and economical instability. ## But where are the hotspots? The most expensive properties are located in Aldoar, Foz do Douro and Nevogilde, where the price 1801 euros/m2. And if we talk about Cedofeita, Santo Ildefonso, Sé, Miragaia, São Nicolau and Vitória we find prices of 1445 euros/m2. But if your clients are not big spenders, you should find them something amazing in Campanhã. There you will find prices of 786 euros/m2.
